Telangana Lorry Owners’ Association has called off their indefinite strike, after receiving a commitment from the Government towards resolution of their issues.
MinistersT. Harish Rao, Kadyiam Srihari and P. Mahender Reddy held talks with representatives of the association on Thursday. They offered to constitute a cabinet sub committee over the association’s major demands.
The association declared indefinite strike demanding single permit to operate between AP and Telangana and reduction in vehicle tax.
