Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the 200-bed Apollo Speciality Hospital at Pinakininagar, Muthukur Road, Nellore on Sunday.
Apollo Hospitals founder-chairman Prathap C. Reddy, Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana and other dignitaries were present on the occasion
Mr. Chandrababu Naidu on this occasion addressed that the TDP government comitted to make the newly created Andhra Pradesh state a medical hub in the country. He appreciated the Apollo Group for spreading their hospitals in towns also.
The CM also added, the region from Nellore to Chennai was fast developing into an automobile hub.There was a need for healthcare to update to reach the reqirements of the public.
Dr. Prathap C. Reddy mentioned it is the first super-brand hospital in Nellore and it was their 57th Specialty Hospital in India.
The 200-bedded specialty hospital offers high-end tertiary care across various medical disciplines with special focus on cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, urology, emergency and trauma care.
