Telangana Chief Minister KCR asked TSGenco officials and TSTransco officials to ensure power supply without cuts to all the consumers including industrial and domestic users.
The Chief Minister declared the release of Rs 350 crore immediately to buy additional power from the eastern grid and other sources according to reports.
“We have to rely on Kayamkulam to overcome the power deficit which is currently at 3.5 MU. The energy required by the state is 150.87 MU but only 147. 52 MU has been met with as on March 18, I have negotiated with power supply sources for the purchase of the required power and the same is being procured,” D. Prabhakar Rao, CMD of TSTransco and TSGenco told the Chief Minister.
