According to the sources, Angana Roy roped to play the second lead in Mahesh’s next film.
The Bengali actress is making her Tollywood debut. She said that “I am extremely excited about debuting in Telugu cinema and that too with a Mahesh Babu film. This is the 10th film of my career. I have been part of films in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. I have been a big fan of Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja all these years, and I love the grandeur and larger-than-life scale of Telugu films,” said Angana, who is playing an ‘important part’ in the film.
Recalling her experience of shooting with Mahesh, she added, “I had shot with Mahesh for a couple of days in Hyderabad earlier. He is a huge star and I was anxious, but was surprised to see how easy going he was. I can see why he’s a superstar. He has no airs about him and he’s very down-to-earth. He’s very approachable and has great respect for everyone on the sets,” adds Angana.
