The Polish Government is keen to have strategic relations with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, said its Ambassador to India Tomasz Tukaszuk .
“Poland is a hub of home appliances and electronics manufacturing. We are very strong in IT, Food Processing, Mining and business services,” Tukaszuk said.
“We are expecting strategic relations and business partnerships from investors from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states,” he added.
The Polish Ambassador was speaking at an interactive session organised by the Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI).
FTAPCCI President Anil Reddy Vennam said that India and Poland set an ambitious trade target of 5 billion dollars by the year 2018 from the 2014 level of 2.3 billion dollars and drew a blueprint for stepping up investments and identified a series of actions to raise trade.
India’s major exports have been cotton, textiles, chemical products, electromechanical appliances, vehicles, air ships and vessels while major imports from Poland have been electromechanical appliances, mineral products, and chemical products, Reddy said.
