Telugu historical drama Rudhramadevi will be released on October 9 globally by Reliance Entertainment and Abhishek Pictures.
The Gunasekhar-directed film, produced by Abhishek Nama, will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
The film is a based on a third century queen of the Kakatiya dynasty. Anushka Shetty plays the protagonist.
Besides Anushka, Rudhramadevi also co-stars Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Vikramjeet Virk, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa. Its soundtrack and background score have been composed by Ilaiyaraaja, while the costumes have been designed by Neeta Lulla.
