Actress Jyotika, who is overwhelmed with the positive response to her comeback film ’36 Vayadhinile’, says she did it with the belief that it will cement the position of women in their daily lives, and heroines in a male-dominated industry.
“I’m overwhelmed with the love and respect towards ’36 Vayadhinile’. I did the film with a fire inside me, believing that women should be respected for being homemakers as they juggle between many roles in day-to-day life, thereby losing the Drive to chase their own dreams,” Jyotika said in a statement.
In the movie, Jyotika plays a character ‘too old’ to have her own dreams and to pursue them.
