Actor Mithun Chakraborthy returns over 1 crore rupees to the enforcement directorate after being questioned in connection with the Saradha Scam.
This was the money he was paid to promote the company.
Mithun was paid 1 crore 19 lakhs for promoting the Saradha group which is involved in multi crore chit fund scam. Mithun was an anchor in a TV channel owned by the Saradha Group. He was questioned by the ED last month on his ties with the group.
