A minor fire broke out in the general bogie of the Bangalore-Guwahati Express as the train reached the border of Nellore district here on Monday morning.
The passengers immediately stopped the train and alerted the railway officials. The fire was caused due to short circuit.
Train was stopped at D.V. Satram mandal for 15 minutes. The train resumed onward journey after repairs.
