The Hyderabad High Court comprising Chief Justice Kalyanjyothi Sen Gupta and Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar on Monday asked Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments to act properly for the removal of illegal fexis, banners and statues in public places.
The Bench was dealing with a case filed seeking removal of statutes in Mukthinuthalapadu and Gudimillapadu in Prakasam district.
After passing these orders in December 2014, the governments had filed reports. The bench on Monday said that even recently it noticed spurt of flexis which are obviously not permitted.
The bench adjourned the case by two weeks for the governments to report back to the court.
